So, Mom and Dad want to take you to Acapulco, huh? You are so lucky! Let me tell you a little bit about Acapulco.
Acapulco is located in the country of MEXICO. That is just south of the border of the United States of America. In Mexico, everyone speaks Spanish. It is the national language. Because Acapulco is so close to the border, and is on the ocean, it is really hot here ALL YEAR LONG!
In Acapulco, we eat a lot of Mexican food. Like quesadillas and enchiladas and tacos. But we also have McDonald's, Pizza Hut and Hard Rock Café!
We love to have fun and play in the sand building sandcastles and swimming in the warm ocean.
We also drink coconut milk out of coconuts and eat lots of ice cream.
Of course, the best thing about Acapulco is that we get to swim in the pool all day long and spend lots of time in the sun!
Acapulco is a great vacation spot! There are lots of fun things to do - check out a few of our favorites:

Cici's Water Park

This place is totally cool! It is full of fun water games and even has an aquarium filled with local tropical fish. Some kids and grown-ups get to swim with the dolphins even! There is also a show where dolphins and seals perform for kids and their parents. Show times are 12:00, 14:30 and 17:00. If you spend the entire day, both the beach and restaurants are nearby - McDonald's is right next door! Cici is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and is located in Costa Azul.

For older kids

The go-karts are a great place to go and have a radical ride around the tracks with friends and even grown-ups! There are three places to go go-karting: Plaza Bahia, Papagayo Park and way out near the airport. You can also rollerskate and Skateboard at Roller Brisa Mar and Papagayo Park. The park in Las Brisas offers refreshments and snacks (so bring money!) and closes until around 10:00 p.m.

Cinemas: Great movies are shown in the movie theatres here, but some of the children's movies are dubbed into Spanish. Be sure to ask for the show that is in English so you can understand. All the English speaking movies have subtitles and it is fun to read the movie while it is playing! Cinepolis is located in the Gran Plaza shopping mall in Magallanes and Galerías Diana. There is also a movie theatre in the Plaza Bahia, but it is smaller.

Another fun thing to do is to go bowling. You can go bowling in the Plaza Bahia (located in Magallanes near the Diana). This place opens around 11:00 a.m. and closes around 9 p.m. and it is a really fun thing to do with the entire family!

If you know how to golf or play tennis, there is a place in town called Club de Golf and they have a program for kids. Ask your parents to ask us about classes.

We also have snorkeling and scuba diving, if you have certification..

Bungy Jumping is an awesome experience - if you aren't afraid of heights! Only kids over 7 are allowed. You get a cool videotape of your jump, a T-shirt and a certificate for only about $500 pesos! Kids under 18 need parent authorization, so be sure to go with an adult!
